Understand The Industry

Do you know that home inspectors are not regulated or licensed by the State of Florida?

Each inspection company is responsible for their own code of ethics, standards of practice and continuous education. That leaves you to do your homework as to whether your home inspector is honest, fair and qualified.

Maverick Inspectors: We are working members of the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors, better known as NACHI. As such we are compelled to follow the code of ethics and standards of practice of that association. We are also required to accomplish 24 hours of continuous education courses every year. Did you know that not all “home inspections” are the same?

The use of the term “home inspection” does not mean that all inspectors are performing a similar evaluation of the property. Every inspector relies on his personal experience, knowledge and intellect of construction. The scope and detail of methods of inspection and reporting vary. The old adage “you get what you pay for” applies here.

Maverick Inspectors: Our inspectors spend an average of 2-3 hours on an average size home of 2500 square feet. They are happy to take out time through their inspection to answer worries and questions about the home and it’s components. Every problem found is reported on in the clearest possible manner and photo-documented for your convenience. Our prices are the most competitive in our area compared with the level of inspection that we provide. Contact us for a free estimate.

Who we are

Maverick Inspectors have years of experience in the field of construction and inspection. We are experienced in plumbing, painting, roofing, carpentry, electrical, landscaping and grading, drywall, and termite & pest control. We consistently teach and learn from each other these various trades.

Our inspectors are polite, clean cut and professional. They frequently volunteer their time, skills and abilities in the community when needed. As an example, during the last hurricane season that devastated Florida, our inspectors volunteered on roofing crews to quickly repair homes throughout Central Florida. None received payment for their work and some even spent money out of their own pockets to help others by means of donation.
